Economic Independence
A donation of $1,000 supports a Client’s full journey and provides access to our services for one year — allowing them to utilize our programs as they need to further their professional journey.
We support each of our Clients with a full range of programs and services, at no cost to them. We believe in eliminating barriers, so whether our Clients participate in programs regularly or occasionally, our services are always accessible to them.

Community
A donation of $500 enables a Client to participate in our Working Women’s Group — allowing them to join a cohort of other women who will learn, network and develop their professional skills, together.
Our Working Women’s Group is an 8-week program that brings together 30 individuals for a common purpose; to further their professional growth. Each cohort has the opportunity to learn from industry professionals on topics designed to advance their skills, better their career and foster life-long habits that extend into their personal lives.

Career Support
A donation of $300 provides a Client with personalized, one-on-one career support — allowing them to work with a dedicated mentor and navigate the specific challenges they face during their job search or employment.
We provide our Clients with customized support to help them address their professional obstacles. Whether they need assistance preparing for an interview, refining their resume or simply need advice, our career support services are designed to help eliminate those hurdles.

Professional Attire
A donation of $150 provides a Client with two Boutique Suiting Appointments with a personal volunteer stylist — equipping them with a full-week’s worth of professional outfits for their upcoming interviews and employment.
We support thousands of Clients with access to the clothing and accessory items they need. Whether they are just beginning their job search or are starting a new job, our styling services are designed to empower our Clients, no matter their industry or job title.

Opportunity
A donation of $75 grants a Client access to their first DFS Toronto appointment or workshop — giving them the opportunity to join our community and utilize our services.
Over the years, we have supported thousands of Clients on their career journey. Whether they start by attending a virtual workshop or with a suiting appointment, our services are designed to empower our Clients at every stage.

A donation of $50 provides a Client with their first empowerment piece — an item of clothing or accessory that makes them feel professional, inspired and confident.
Through our suiting program, we provide thousands of professional attire pieces to our Clients, empowering them to both look and feel the part.

Financial donations of $10 or more are eligible for charitable tax receipts and are issued in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency’s regulations and organizational policies and procedures. Charitable receipts can only be issued to individuals and not company organizations.
