Code of Conduct

As a small non-profit organization, Dress for Success Toronto (DFS Toronto) staff are committed to supporting women and maintaining safe and respectful environments. We aim to treat all our stakeholders courteously and expect members of the public to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way.

This code of conduct outlines our expectations for stakeholder behaviour.

  • Please be patient and aware of our mission. We welcome emails and calls from members of the public with the understanding that DFS Toronto has limited resources to immediately address concerns, complaints, or requests for information. Please allow 3-5 business days before following up.
  • Please exercise consideration in your approach and language. Demeaning, discriminatory, abusive, or harassing behaviour or messages (email, voice mail, or over the phone) will not be tolerated including threats, insults, offhand remarks, jokes, or innuendos.


Zero Tolerance Policy
: If anyone violates this code of conduct, DFS Toronto reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate including but not limited to terminating discussions and future interactions and refusing access to DFS Toronto programs and services.
