This year, we re-launched Professional Women’s Group under a new name and format, introducing the Working Women’s Group. This cohort based networking and learning opportunity successfully brought together 24 individuals. Over the course of the 8-week, participants of the WWG gathered virtually each week to learn from industry professionals on topics designed to build skills and advance their careers. For the final session, we gathered together in-person at the DFS Toronto Boutique for an opportunity to network, have professional headshots taken and share in the success of the program.
In 2022, we also grew our network of support, engaging 1,088 unique women through our career development services. From our Mastering Your Job Search After: The Future of Work Conference, to our Virtual Career Learning Programs and Online Career Centre, we provided over 3,150 hours of career learning and development services to our Clients, highlighting how our programs go beyond simply helping our Clients find the perfect outfit.
Of course, we still supported hundreds of Women through our core Suiting Program, providing thousands of clothing and accessory items to help our Clients not only look their best, but feel their best. This past year, we facilitated 849 Suiting Appointments at our Boutique and virtually.
We couldn’t have achieved these figures without the support from our dedicated volunteer team. Our mission is made possible because of the wonderful individuals who donate their time, energy and skills to our organization.
