We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and organized Engagement Assistant to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for Clients, this essential role supports our online appointment booking process as well as the day-to-day function of our popular Boutique. You will engage and support all DFS Toronto program areas, including our signature Suiting Program and Clothing Donations process, with opportunities to participate in special projects related to stakeholder events and retail inventory.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, community-minded leader to oversee the operations of our popular Boutique. This includes managing a robust Volunteer Program and supervising the intake of clothing donations from generous individuals and corporate groups. Reporting to the Director, Programs you will manage a team of two full-time coordinators and 1-2 part-time students to facilitate the flow of relevant inventory and the ongoing development of respectful, safe, and effective experiences for Clients and Volunteers. This role also works closely with the Manager, Programs to build and foster relationships with external agencies focused on supporting racialized and marginalized communities.
We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative self-starter who is passionate about the sustainable fashion movement and empowering women to look and feel their best. Our Suiting Program serves over 600 Clients each year thanks to the generous donations from individuals and corporate drives. With additional support from retailers such as Coach, TJX, Bravado and Penningtons, our Boutique offers items at no cost to Clients and boasts a variety of styles, sizes, and selections for women and non-binary individuals ready to re-entre the workforce.
