Women’s Health in the Workplace

Hosted by Dr. Srishti Taneja, this discussion will explore multifaceted challenges women face in both professional and personal spheres.

From being disrespected for showing emotion at work to balancing work with life and the barriers posed by pregnancy or having children, this session will also address the unfair attribution of mental health issues to menstrual cycles and the pressure to be strong for everyone.

By the end of the session, we will have also discussed the importance of self-advocacy, the dismissal of symptoms and how accessing strong primary care for women is imperative to our overall wellbeing.

By sharing our combined experiences and solutions, we aim to promote a more supportive and equitable environment for all women.

Learning Outcomes

  • Prioritizing mental and physical health in the workplace
  • Menstrual cycles, pregnancy and children affecting the work life balance
